The Company
Cybertron's founder, David Doyle James, has worked with COBOL for over 25
years, and has seen many systems through the transition. He has
over 20 years experience working with COBOL on local area networks. His
experience writing code and data filters started in the mid 80s while
working on Wall Street, wherein he created a process that read programs and
automatically produced 90% of the technical documentation.
Soon after completing this project, he decided to strike out on his own.
In 1987, he applied for and received several copyrights for the code
generators he created for "C", COBOL and BASIC, which would create
complete database definitions and user friendly applications from form
layouts. These tools are still being used to help companies transition from older proprietary database technologies.
